Our Lady of Kyankwanzi is is a chaplaincy, found in Kiyinda Mityana Diocese .It is 129 kilometers away from the diocesan Headquarters. Our Lady of Kyankwanzi has got several institutions; the primary school called St. Kizito, a secondary school/ high school called St. Joseph Secondary school, Health Centre III called St. Balikuddembe which treats several diseases around the area of Kyankwanzi and four (4) convents. Our Lady of Kyankwanzi has got three resident priests. It is found in Kyankwanzi district which has got over 210,000 people.

It begun as a chaplaincy in 1979 but it is growing steadily. The priests at Our Lady of Kyankwanzi carry out pastoral work to the outstations belonging to the neighboring parishes as well
